
DIY Day
The 6th annual DIY Day will feature non-stop do-it-yourself action! This event was created with Frederick’s residents’ can-do spirit in mind. Folks will learn about nature and do-it-yourself skills to make them even more independent and well-rounded.
2021 Activities
- Are you a good climber? Prove it! A rock climbing wall (right) will be onsite from 8 am – 12 pm.
- Stop by the ‘Ohana Montessori Preschool tent and learn how to make kites and crowns for kids. Get to know with this local school!
- What’s better than getting to explore big trucks? Touch-a-Truck with Waste Connections who will be on sight with recycling information.
- In Colorado, we can experience all types of weather. Say hi to Columbine Roofing, LLC to ask any roofing questions you have.
- Looking to get in shape? The Town of Frederick HEAL Committee will have yoga demonstrations at 9 am and 11 am, and National Fitness Court demonstrations. Show us how fit you are and participate for a sweet giveaway!
- Meet the Colorado Master Gardeners-Weld County and learn how to start a vegetable, herb, and fruit garden. Ask any gardening questions you may have for the experts!
- Be sure to check out the Renewal by Andersen booth this year to see how efficiently their windows block heat.
- Meet our first responders from the Frederick Police Department, including the FPD K-9, Bosch and Officer Austin (right)!
- Brigit’s Bounty will be on hand with free take home crafts for kids!
- Calling all book worms! The Carbon Valley Regional Library will be bringing a unique book browsing experience.
- The Town of Frederick POST Commission will provide a planting lesson and information on the importance of bees in our community.
- Stop by the TBK Bank booth to learn how they go above and beyond for you and our community.
- Take a swing at our Bella Rosa Golf Course putting green challenge and get some great tips from Tim Schwartz – Head Golf Professional & General Manager.
