About
The Carbon Valley Help Center is a local nonprofit started on behalf of the Carbon Valley Network, which is a local group that exists to share information and enhance the collaboration between human services groups, faith-based organizations, the school district, municipalities, Weld County, and nonprofits serving the Carbon Valley region.
Mission
Helping people with immediate need move to self-sufficiency by unifying Carbon Valley resources.
Services
Center volunteers help connect people with local organizations that can help. The Carbon Valley Help Center can also provide food and financial assistance to those in need. CVHC is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month, with appointments recommended. Please call us at 303-833-6626 to set up an appointment with a client specialist. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability.
How can you help?
The Help Center continues to seek volunteers to coordinate food donations to distribute to clients. We are also in need of help with various duties. We appreciate our community giving time, donations, and financial support.
DONATE NON-PERISHABLE FOOD
Food donations can be dropped off at CVHC during office hours, or can be dropped off at Firestone Town Hall, 151 Grant Avenue, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. We appreciate food high in protein.
Ongoing needs include:
beans, canned fruit, canned meat or tuna, canned soup or stews, canned vegetables, cereal, fruit juice, macaroni & cheese, peanut butter, pasta, and rice.
GIVE FINANCIAL SUPPORT
To fund financial grants, purchase food, and maintain operational costs
Donations are tax-deductible and can be given in the form of a check, gift cards, automatic withdrawal, cash or online at ColoradoGives.org. Interested in being a corporate sponsor? Please contact us!
