People should not participate in any in-person activities, including handing out candy, IF they:
🔸Are sick, especially with COVID-19 symptoms.
🔸Have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 and are currently in the quarantine period.
🔸Have recently tested positive for COVID-19 and are currently in the isolation period.

Wear a mask that fully covers your nose and mouth, wash your hands frequently, and keep your distance whenever you are out in public or around people who are not a part of your household.

Time to clean up the yard!The Town of Firestone Public Works Department will be hosting a FREE yard waste disposal event for Firestone residents on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week.

Firestone residents can bring tree limbs, leaves, shrubs and other yard waste to the Firestone Public Works Facility, at the east gate of 7500 Pine Cone Avenue to be dropped-off on:
🍁 Thurs, October 29th, & Fri, October 30th, from 8am-3pm
🍁 Sat, October 31st, from 8am-12pm

Event Details:
🍁 Commercial waste will NOT be accepted; this event is for residents only.
🍁 Town Staff will be on-site directing traffic, but to practice proper social distancing, will not be available to assist with disposals into the dumpsters.
🍁 Please bring a copy of your utility bill and/or your I.D. for proof of residency.
🍁 Tree branches must be 6” or less in diameter, cut to lengths of 4’ or less, and bundled with rope.
Tree stumps or branches larger than 6” will not be accepted.
🍁 All other yard waste, including leaves and shrubs must be bagged and able to be placed directly in dumpsters.
